Sadly, this celebrated establishment, which garnered a global reputation, permanently closed its doors in December 2021 following the hotel's own cessation of operations.
Before its closure, Frank Bar was renowned for its "old-fashioned" ambiance, evoking the glamorous New York bars of the 1980s with jazz music, dim lighting, and plush red leather armchairs. It paid homage to Frank Sinatra, who famously performed at the Maksoud Plaza in 1981, providing a refined setting for discerning patrons. The bar was celebrated for its innovative and classic libations, many crafted by its award-winning head bartender, Spencer Amereno Jr., who was instrumental in its success and recognition on the international bar scene. Beyond exceptional drinks, the bar offered a selection of elevated bar bites, providing a complete, luxurious experience for its esteemed clientele.
