Luxuria City Review

Our in-depth review is coming soon. Stay tuned for a firsthand look at this venue.

TRUNK (HOTEL) CAT STREET is a pioneering luxury boutique hotel nestled in Tokyo's vibrant Shibuya district, renowned for its innovative "socializing" and "localization" concept. This sophisticated and eco-conscious retreat offers a refreshing contrast to the urban bustle, integrating reclaimed materials and bespoke furnishings to create an art-filled atmosphere that feels more like a chic friend's residence than a conventional hotel. The hotel fosters a laid-back, inclusive environment where both locals and international guests can authentically connect and immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Shibuya's culture.

The hotel distinguishes itself with a strong focus on community and local experiences. Guests can embark on unique culinary journeys at its two distinctive restaurants: TRUNK(KITCHEN), offering a refined fusion menu, and TRUNK(KUSHI), specializing in traditional grilled skewers. To encourage exploration of the fashionable surroundings, complimentary bicycles are available, inviting guests to leisurely discover Harajuku's iconic street fashion, independent boutiques, and charming cafes. This unwavering commitment to integrating with and celebrating its urban context makes TRUNK (HOTEL) CAT STREET an compelling destination for discerning luxury travelers seeking an authentic, stylish, and deeply immersive Tokyo experience.

Everything at this hotel is unique and fantastic, from its great location and lush greenery to its stunning design, amazing coffee and cocktails, and excellent rooms and dining options.

The hotel maintains its elegant, contemporary design, with cozy, clean, and comfortable rooms, professional staff, and delicious dinner at Trunk Kitchen, though breakfast portions were too large and noise from weddings occasionally impacted the bar area.
