Ping Yang Thai Bar & Food, located in São Paulo, Brazil, has quickly become a favorite among locals since its opening in 2023. The restaurant offers traditional and modern Thai cuisine without stereotypes, bringing the street and home cooking of Thailand to an intimate and vibrant setting. Chef Maurício Santi, who spent several years immersing himself in Thai techniques and flavors, reimagines Asian street food for the modern table, combining sweet notes with acidic and bitter touches, always maintaining the defining spices of Eastern cooking.

The compact menu is designed for sharing, bridging the culinary traditions of São Paulo and Bangkok. Diners can expect bold flavors and real spice, with a focus on fresh crudos, crunchy laabs, flavourful curries, and skewered meats. The bar, curated by João Piccolo, complements the intense dishes with cocktails featuring Thai ingredients like lemongrass, coconut, and tropical fruits.

Ping Yang has garnered significant recognition, including a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Brazil and the "Melhor Estreia do Ano" (Best Debut of the Year) award from Veja São Paulo's Comer & Beber. It is also the only Thai restaurant in South America to be featured in the "50 Best Discovery" list. Reservations are highly recommended to experience this authentic and technically brilliant 'temple of Thai gastronomy' in the city.
