Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar was formerly Thailand's highest restaurant and bar, situated on the 76th and 77th floors of the iconic King Power Mahanakhon building in Bangkok's Sathorn district. Opened in the summer of 2019, it quickly became a premier destination for luxury travelers seeking unparalleled dining and breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city. The venue offered a sophisticated ambiance with tastefully designed indoor and outdoor seating areas, including exclusive VIP lounges and an 'urban jungle' outdoor terrace.
Under the culinary direction of Executive Chef Joshua Cameron, the modern brasserie featured an exquisite menu of sophisticated Western and Asian dishes, complemented by world-class mixology. The decor, conceptualized by Tristan Auer of Wilson Associates, blended French elegance with Thai-inspired patterns, creating a unique and luxurious escape high above the city. Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar was lauded for its exceptional experience, offering discerning guests a memorable journey of gourmet cuisine and spectacular vistas.
However, Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar permanently closed for rebranding in January 2022. The space has since been taken over by new ventures, including Ojo Bangkok and Sky Beach Bar, which are operated by The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon hotel.
